Craig Sewing, a bunch of the youth I advise, my son Tyler, and I got out and competed in the BSA Varsity Scout Triathlon on Fiesta Island on Saturday. The event is for Boys, Girls, and youth leaders – I have been a youth and Boy Scout leader for 30 years.
While on the air on KCBQ, I got Craig committed to compete this year and am glad he did. Getting to know him outside of the business environment was great. We spend so much time with people in specific situations and it is nice to get out and do something other than work.
Yes, Craig is buffer than I am, but then I am 20 years older and have 3 sons, 1 daughter, and 2 grandsons.
Today is was back to business as usual. Solving financial problems.
